VETERINARY CARE
The Green Point Veterinary Hospital is a large ‘A class’
hospital which is fully computerised to allow ready access to
your pets’ medical records. We have extensive facilities to
provide total health care for your pet including
hospitalisation, general anaesthesia, and a full range of
surgical procedures. We are equipped for full dental care,
radiology, video-endoscopy, electrocardiography and ultrasound.
We have access to numerous pathology labs and can perform
many diagnostic test. We regularly update our equipment to
maintain state of the art technological capabilities.
But it is much more – GPVH is a place where your and your pet
can feel at home. All the staff are animal owners ourselves and
understand that a special bond exists between you and your pets.
We aim to provide an environment where both you and your pets
sense that we genuinely care as much about their happiness and
welfare as you do.

NUTRITION
We have special food for special problems and special foods for
special pets. We stock Eukanuba, Iams and Hills brands. You will
be amazed how good your pet will look on these diets.
GROOMING
Our hydro-bath is used for pampering your pooch. Professional
groomers operate from our hospital for the very basic to latest
fashion cuts for both dogs and cats. Appointments essential. Ask
for Sonya O'Donnell or Jaynee Fraser.
PUPPY PRESCHOOL
We hold puppy socialization and behaviour training classes on
Saturday mornings for puppies 6-18 weeks of age. A properly
socialized and trained puppy grows into a better behaved and
respectful pet. Bookings are necessary as numbers are limited.
For bookings please phone the hospital and ask for Jo Lowe.

PETS AVAILABLE
We often place unwanted puppies, dogs, cats and kittens. The
animals come vet checked, microchipped and if required
vaccinated also. Keep an eye on the sign in front of the
hospital because we often place information of the latest animal
that requires a new home.
For those that are after a special breed, we have lists of
breeders who may be of help finding you a pet.

BOARDING FACILITIES
Spacious indoor runs are provided for both dogs and cats. We are
mostly full, so book in advance if possible. Please inspect our
facilities at any time by appointment. We feed only the best

this service. We are able to cater for pets with special needs
such as diabetics and if veterinary check is required, the vets
are available every day. In addition, if you pet needs a

during their stay.

problems over the phone.
Canine dating service is available. We keep a database of people
with pets they want to breed and we may just have the “right”
