About Green Point Vets

We are an “A” class hospital and are members of the A.S.A.V.A. (Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association), and the A.V.A. (Australian Vet Association).

We have the latest equipment possible in areas of anaesthesia, patient monitoring, pre and postoperative care, as well as diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, Med RX, bronchoscopy, arthroscopy, endoscopy, x-rays, blood pressure monitoring, electrocardiograms.

The GPVH has been purpose build to make your pets’ stay as comfortable as possible. We now have ample off-street parking and disabled access. Our facilities include a spacious, child friendly waiting room, 3 consulting rooms for busy days, intensive care facilities, separate dog and cat wards, isolation wards, modern X-ray / imaging suite, separate surgery, separate dog and cat boarding facilities and a flat for nurse supervision of critical cases overnight. A dog walking area is also available for walks before, during or after your visit.

At Green Point Veterinary Hospital we maintain a friendly, open doors policy with our clients and pride ourselves on the level of care and service we can offer.

We welcome any queries regarding your pets. We have three experienced vets on hand and a friendly professional team of nurses to assist you.

Our animal ambulance can provide a house call service for those who wish their pets to be seen in their own home. Our well trained vets and staff use up to date equipment and can provide you with an accurate and quick diagnosis. All our vets attend conferences and seminars at least once yearly.

After Hours Services

Our dedication to provide service extends 24 hours a day, every day of the year. For the benefit of all our clients, we have a veterinarian always on call for after hours emergencies, provided by our hospital or neighbouring Terrigal Veterinary Hospital and Gosford Veterinary Hospital. Please phone for emergency appointments after hours.
